Condolences

Condolence From: Olivia Morrison
Condolence: My Pap was and will forever be the greatest man that I have known. I've never experienced anything more special in my life than the bond we shared. Whenever I had a problem or conflict, I came to him for support. Always. He taught me to give my all and the power of prayer. He gave absolutely everyone a chance and didn't judge. When I think about him, I think of Jesus. Jesus was kind to all and accepted the outcasts especially. My Nana told me stories of how he helped many homeless by providing them a shower, food, and money. He showed me the value of volunteering and giving. This man would always put others first, instead of himself. He was a real disciple of God. I imagine you arriving to heaven. You're not hunched over. You stand tall with a straight back. Your pain has diminished. You begin to take steps and walk quicker and quicker. Each and every person you've touched greets with smiles. They're all clapping. Biscuit and Bella run to your side. You see Uncle Jerry with your Mom and Dad. Jesus embraces you and whispers, “You've made it Paul.” You are free. One of my favorite quotes is from the movie, “Big Fish.” It states, “A man tells his stories so many times that he becomes the stories. They live on after him, and in that way he becomes immortal.” We must keep his spirit alive by sharing memories together. I will tell my children. They will tell their children and so on. You are an honor. Thank you for being my Pap, my best friend, and most of all my Dad. Death ends a life, but not a relationship.

Condolence: My deepest condolences to Aunt Linda, Heather, Paul, Olivia, Sierra, and Anthony. May the grace of God provide comfort and strength to you all. Uncle Butch was many of things to so many people, but it wasn't until his service did I truly understand how humble he was and how many lives he touched throughout the community. My love goes to you all.

A Letter From Heaven...
When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not here to see
If the sun should rise and find your eyes, filled with tears for me.
I wish so much you wouldn't cry, the way you do today
While thinking of the many things, we didn't get to say
I know how much you love me, as much as I love you,
And each time you think of me, I know you'll miss me too
When tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart,
for every time you think of me, I'm right there in your heart.

Condolence From: Barbara (Mannion) Stoehr
Condolence: Since I am unable to attend Butch's viewing or funeral Mass, please accept my sincere sympathy. Many memories have creeped into my mind of family get-togethers so long ago. Although it's been many years since I've seen any of you, I have never forgotten you.

Linda, please extend my love to your children although I really never got to know them; but, also, to Butch's siblings who may be with you.

Love & prayers,

Your cousin,

Barbara

Condolence: It was an honor to work with Paul and become friends with him on the Catholic men's conference. Paul had a great sense of humor, and huge soft heart for others and God. He was a true ambassador for the conference. Eternal memory.
