Obituary for William R. Robison
William R. Robison, age 81, of Tyrone and a guest at Epworth Manor died Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Manor. He was born October 4, 1933 in Philipsburg, the son of Howard and Naomi E. Crain Robison.
Mr. Robison was a graduate of Tyrone High School, Class of 1951. He had been employed as a machine operator at Chicago Rivet and Machine Co., retiring in 1995 after 40 years service. He was a member of the First English Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Tyrone Sportsman, was a lifetime member of the Hook and Ladder Fire Company, a lifetime member of NRA and a staunch Republican. For a number of years Mr. Robison had served as a first ward councilman.
Funeral service for Mr. Robison will be Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor Sharon Erb officiating. Interment will be in Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home for one half hour prior to the service.
