Wendy L. Boytim, 56, of Tyrone died Monday March 14, 2016 at UPMC Altoona.

She was born January 24, 1960 in Tyrone a daughter of Horace L. and Janet L. (Harpster) Neil. On August 16, 1980 at Wesley United Methodist Church, Tyrone she married Jeffery L. Boytim.

Surviving are her husband, two sons Michael S. and wife Britta of Hollidaysburg, Todd J. of Tyrone and a sister JoAnn Clough and husband Dr. Robert of Bangor, Maine.

She had been owner and operator of Wendy’s Joybeans and Bakery, Tyrone from 2006-2012. She had been employed at McIntyre, Hartye and Schmitt, Duncansville as Legal secretary, Bigelow-Cherry Law Offices, Marianna’s Foods, Tyrone Area School District and the Hancock Group.

She was of the Methodist faith and was a 1977 graduate of Tyrone Area High School. She was a member of the Tyrone Woman’s Club and the Sorority Club.

Wendy enjoyed baking, picnics at Glendale Lake, her dog Wiskey, going out to eat and meeting with the girls at Burger King. She loved her family and helping others.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March, 19, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Norman E. Huff officiating. Interment will follow at Bald Eagle Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
