Obituary for Terry Ann Talbot-Moses
Reverend Terry Ann Talbot-Moses, age 68, of Tyrone died Friday, August 5, 2016 at UPMC Altoona. She was born June 21, 1948 in Schenectady, NY, the daughter of Charles J. and Ann (Pickett) Talbot. On January 23, 1971 she was married to William H. Moses who preceded her in death January 14, 2014. She is survived by a sister, Pam Talbot, Delansan, NY and 4 nephews and 1 niece, Tristan Sorrentino, Paul Lanza, and Pauline, Shawn and Scott Talbot, all of NY. She was preceded by her brother Ronald Talbot.
She was ordained as a pastor for the Lutheran Church in 1983 and retired May 1, 2016.
Her most recent assignment was at Grace Lutheran Church in Bellwood. She had a degree of Master of Divinity from New Brunswick, NJ Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Science in Music from The Kings College, NY, and an Associate of Arts from the Community College of Valhalla, NY. She was a member of the Bellwood Council of Churches, the Bellwood Community Choir, and the Bellwood Excelsior #1 Fire Department.
Friends will be received at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone, on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 4 to 7 PM. The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, Bellwood with Pastor Sharon Erb officiating. Private interment will be made at the convenience of the family at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Sinking Valley PA.
