Obituary for Terrance L. "Terry" Kobuck

Terrance “Terry” L. Kobuck, age 70 of Warriors Mark died Saturday, January 18, 2014 at his residence. He was born January 5, 1944 in Tyrone, the son of John J. and Jennie Lewis Kobuck. On October 21, 1967 at the First English Lutheran Church he was married to Joyce Bookhamer who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Lori (Robert F. “Bob”) Slavik of Northern Cambria. Also surviving are a sister, Catherine (Charles) Diehl, RD Tyrone and 3 brothers – Robert (Margie), Tyrone, Martin of Oklahoma,and Richard (Louise), Delmont and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Lawrence Kobuck and John Kobuck.
Mr. Kobuck was a graduate of Tyrone High School Class of 1961. He had been employed in the Maintenance Department of Chicago Rivet and Machine Company, retiring in 2006. He was a veteran of service in the US Air Force. He was a member of Howard Gardner Post #281 American Legion, the Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder Fire Company and the Buck Rub Hunting Club. He enjoyed the outdoors, being in the woods, and hunting. He liked to go to flea markets and antiquing and enjoyed being with his family and his special dog, Lucy.
Funeral service for Terrance L. Kobuck will be Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 11 AM at the First English Lutheran Church with Pastor Sharon Erb officiating. Interment with military honors by the Tyrone Honor Guard will be made in Burket Cemetery, Warriors Mark. Friends may call at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc. on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday at the church.
