Robert Lee Brower, 68, of Tyrone died Sunday September 6, 2015 at UPMC Altoona.
He was born December 16, 1946 in Philipsburg, a son of Benjamin and Patricia (Maines) Brower.
Surviving are 3 sisters Sharon Keith of Glendale, Mary Cowher of Tyrone, Margaret Cowher of Tyrone, 3 brothers Harold of Tyrone, Jim of Altoona and David of Tyrone.
Mr. Brower retired from Robert Tennis Construction as a carpenter following 25 years service. He was previously employed at Westvaco, Tyrone.
He was a member of the Tyrone Hookies Fire Company, Anderson-Denny VFW and the Howard Gardner American Legion. He was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of Vietnam serving as a Sergeant in the 112th Infantry. He had also been in the National Guard for 3 years.
Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed softball and throwing darts.
Friends will be received on Saturday September 19, 2015 from 12 Noon until the Memorial Services at 2 P.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Norman E. Huff officiating. The Tyrone Honor Guard will accord veterans honors at the service.
