Obituary for Michael Warren Keith
Michael Warren Keith, formerly of Tyrone, age 62, died Thursday, November 2, 2017 at his residence in Huntingdon. He was born May 14, 1955 in Tyrone, the son of Elmer and Nancy Black Keith. He is survived by a son, Christopher of Breckenridge, CO and three brothers – James (Gwen), Lewistown, Pat (Melanie), Tyrone and Andrew of Missouri. He was preceded in death by a sister Susan Bressler. Other survivors are nephews Brett (Shanda) Keith, Todd (Michelle) Keith and niece Carrol Sue Bressler, all of Tyrone.
Michael was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School Class of 1973 and had been employed in the shipping department of Meade Manufacturing of Alexandria, retiring in 2012.
He was a member of the Tyrone American Legion Post #281, the Tyrone VFW Post #4559, and the Tyrone Hookies. He was a firearms collector, enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved NASCAR.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Keith will be held at a date to be announced. Arrangements are under the care of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc.
