Obituary for Maureen A. Kustenbauder

Maureen Westley Kustenbauder, age 70, of Tyrone died Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Epworth Manor. She was born August 13, 1946 in Northwood, the daughter of Robert F. and Elizabeth Schnellbach Westley. On July 15, 1966 at the First English Lutheran Church, Tyrone, she was married to Richard L. Kustenbauder who survives. Also surviving are one son and two daughters – Richard II (Paula) Kustenbauder, Krista (Tom) Getz and Kim (Robert) Parks, all of Tyrone and nine grandchildren – Alyssa and Noah Kustenbauder, Christian, Nicholas, Emma and Quinnly Getz and Isaac, Lindsey and Jesse Parks. Also surviving are four sisters and two brothers – Marcia McCoy of KY, Evagene Shultz and Linda Harris, both of Tyrone, Sharon (Jerry) Towey of Philiipsburg, Kim (Judy) Westley of Port Matilda and Dwight Westley of Tyrone. She was preceded in death by three brothers – Joseph, Larry and Darrel Westley and three nephews – Robert Harris, Mark Westley and Larry Westley Jr.

Mrs. Kustenbauder was a member of the First English Lutheran Church and was a member of the church bible study group. She was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School Class of 1964. She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles and attending the grandchildren’s sporting events. She loved spending time with her brothers and sisters and with the rest of her family.

Funeral service for Maureen Westley Kustenbauder will be Thursday, August 18th at 11 AM at the First English Lutheran Church with Pastor Sharon Erb officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park. Friends are invited to call at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc. on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and at the church for one hour prior to the 11 AM Thursday service.
