Obituary for Linda Lee Snider

Linda Lee Snider, age 72, of Tyrone died Friday, July 29, 2016 at Colonial Courtyard. She was born September 5, 1943 in Altoona, the daughter of the late William and Adelina “Brownie” Snider. She is survived by several cousins.
She was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School Cass of 1961. Linda proudly served as a Hospital Corpsman and retired from the US Navy after 20 years service. She served in Okinawa, Japan, Guam and Bethesda, MD as a Medical Lab Technician. Over the years she traveled to many countries throughout the world. She loved animals and nature and was known for her quick wit and sense of humor. Linda had a very fulfilled life and was happy to return back to her home town and her friends from the “Good Ole Days”.
Funeral service for Linda Lee Snider will be Monday, July 1, 2016 at 12 noon at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc. Interment will follow in Bald Eagle Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM until the time of service.
