Obituary for Georgeanna Lowery

Georgeanna Lowery, age 83, of Tyrone and a guest at Epworth Manor died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Manor. She was born May 25, 1930 in Renovo, the daughter of George and Wilimina Ohlander Toot. She was married to George J. Lowery who preceded her in death in 2008. She is survived by a son Craig A. (Brenda) of Tyrone and three grandchildren - Shaniah, Anthony and Elizabeth, all of Tyrone. Also surviving are three sisters and a brother - Wilimina Putman and Paula Hill, both of New York, Jane Umstead, Williamsport, PA and Walter Toot, New York. She was preceded by a brother and sister, Ralph Toot and Suzie Delaney.
She attended the First Assembly of God Church. She received a graduation certificate from the Clinton County school system. She enjoyed taking rides, reading books and playing bingo at numerous venues.
Private graveside service will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc.
