Obituary for Emily E. Morgan

Mrs. Emily E. Morgan, age 91, of Altoona died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at UPMC Altoona. She was born June 24, 1924 in Renovo, the daughter of the late Charles Edward Fullmer and Eva Getz Edmonds. On July 31, 1954 she was married to Robert H. Morgan, who preceded her in death on March 21, 2002. She is survived by two daughters, Sally (Glenn) Nester of Fort Myers, FL and Tracey (Stephen) Weyandt of Altoona. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Lesley Foulk of Pittsburgh, Colleen Stramara of Lancaster, Kyler Weyandt of Reno, NV and Mackenzie Weyandt of Pittsburgh; and eight great-grand children. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth B. and Charles E. Edmonds.
Emily enjoyed going to the movies, luncheons and gardening. She was also a volunteer at the Altoona Hospital for 14 years. After graduating high school, Emily went on to work for the Pennsylvania Railroad, retiring in 1995 from her position as secretary.
Funeral service and interment for Emily E. Morgan will be held at the convenience of the family and are under the care of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc.
