Barry E. Bubb, 66, of Mt. Union, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019. He was born March 20, 1953 in Lewistown, the son of Herbert and Lorraine Gearhart Bubb. He is survived by his children; Barry Bubb, Heather Blystone, Jeremy Bubb, Cody Morgan, Sarah “Chelsea” Horton, and Ann Marie “Celeste” Horton and 7 grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 sisters and 2 brothers; Marin Baumgardner, Kenneth Stahl, Dennis Stahl, Sandra Knouse, and his twin sister Brenda Goodling. He had previously been married to Dorothy Jane Bubb, and to Amy Sue Morgan Bubb; both of whom survive.
He was a long time resident of the Mt. Union area, and of the protestant faith. He liked to hunt, fish, draw, and color and took pride in his aquarium and fish. He enjoyed cross-word puzzles, the outdoors, and primitive style camping. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Prior to his disability, he had been employed at Empire Kosher in Mifflintown, retiring in 2001.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Bubb will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc.
