Abigail C. Becker, 51, of Tyrone died Friday March 14, 2014 at her residence.

She was born July 20, 1962 in Altoona, a daughter of William and Eleanor (Wertz) Shaffer. On September 15, 1986 in Altoona she married Brian J. Becker.

Surviving are her husband, a daughter Tyler at home, a son Brian Jr. of Mill Creek, 4 sisters, Roxann Walter of Altoona, Leeann Walters and husband Bob of Altoona, Jessica Ammerman and husband Dave of Alexandria, Penny Huss and husband Paul of Tyrone, 2 brothers, Denny Jones of Altoona, William Shaffer Jr. and wife Shauna of Tyrone and multiple nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Becker was a long time employee of the Tyrone Hospital working several departments over the years and made many great friends there.

She was an active member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Tyrone and was a member of the Tyrone Hospital Auxiliary.

She enjoyed being with her family and spent the last days with her three little girls Maddie, Raizo and Pippen.

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday March 18, 2014 at 12 Noon at St. Matthew Catholic Church with Fr. Jozef Kovacik officiating. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home on Monday from 4 o 8 P.M.
