William T. Miller Jr., 61, of Tyrone died Monday July 28, 2014 at his residence.

He was born February 10, 1953 in Altoona, a son of William T. Sr. and Lois A.J. (Yeager) Miller.

Surviving are 3 sisters Carol Leech of Beaverdale, Bev Nestlerode of Tyrone, Alice Burket and husband Butch of Tyrone, 2 brothers Wilbur and wife Mary Ann of Tyrone and Jeff and wife Misty of Tyrone. He was preceded in death by 2 nephews Billy and Matt Miller.

Mr. Miller retired on disability from Norfolk Southern, Juniata as a sheet metal worker following 38 years service.

He was a member of the Tyrone American Legion, Sons of Legion and the Tyrone Hookies Fire Company.

Bill enjoyed raising buffalo, hanging out with his best friend Darryl and was an avid hunter.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 31, 2014 at 11 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Pastor Kathy Colebank officiating. Interment will follow at Baughman Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 6 to 9 P.M.
