William "Willie" W. Light, 71, of Tyrone, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023. He was born in Philipsburg, PA on March 3, 1952, to the late Charles Sr. and Katherine (Poullos) Light. On December 20, 1974 at The Hannah Church, he married the love of his life Karen (Kay) A. Hampton, who survives. Along with his wife, he is survived by children, Robert (BJ) J. Light, Billi Jo (Jim) Anders, and Matthew D. Light; grandchildren; Nicolas, Ryan, Ashlynn, Lia, Aiden and Parker; siblings, Connie (Matt) Creppage, Charles (Carol) Light Jr., Frank (Cathy) Light; sister-in-law, Linda (Charlie) Gregory; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his in-laws, Robert (Bob) and Delores (Dee) J. Orwick Hess, brother, Richard Light; his sister, Bonnie McCaulley; brother-in-law Dion Hess; and nephews Justin Behrer and Richard Creppage.

As a graduate of TAHS '70, Willie enjoyed fishing, hunting and wood working. He was known as a car enthusiast. If you didn't see him around, he was most likely going on long rides "around the mountain". He loved hanging out in his garage with family and friends. Willie enjoyed 48 wonderful years with his loving wife, Kay. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and his grandchildren.

On Saturday, October 28, 2023, a viewing will be held 10am-1pm at Feller Memorial Home in Tyrone, PA with a service following. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
