William C. "Bill" Homan, 80, of Warriors Mark, Pennsylvania entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 22, 2026, surrounded by his family at UPMC Altoona.

Bill was born July 24, 1945, in Altoona, PA., to the late Ruth L. (Getz) and James R. Homan, Sr.

In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his brother James R. Homan, Jr. and a granddaughter, Megan Hewitt.

Bill is survived by the love of his life, Cheryl Wagner of Warriors Mark, PA., his children; William J. (Dominique) Homan of Spring Creek, Nevada, Mary M. (Steve) McMonagle of Howard, PA., Dorothy M. "Tina" (Dan) Wilt of Altoona, Luther M. Wagner of Tyrone, Christine A.(Kevin) Zimmerman of Tyrone, Yvonne L. (Jody "JL") Walk of Tyrone, Kelly M. (Al) Hammond, his brother, Roy W. (Donna) Homan of Waterboro, Maine., his grandchildren; Julie, Christopher, Andrew, Dustin, Sarah, Kelsey, Tyler, Bradley, Shannon, Kyle, Kacey, Lindsey, Natasha, Cameron and Audrey, his 13 great-grandchildren, and his 3 loving nieces.

Bill was Catholic by faith and a member at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Tyrone. Bill graduated from Tyrone High School in 1963 and shortly thereafter began working the family farm before driving truck for Davidson Brother Trucking where he retired from in 1993. Bill was an avid fisher and hunter, and was a member of the Wild Sheep Foundation and the Grand Slam Club where he received multiple awards for his decorating hunting, The Big 10 and the Big 25, which refers to 25 of the 29 traditionally recognized North American big game species. Bill loved traveling and spending time with his family, touring all the US and Canada.

Family and Friends will be received at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, 115 W. 10th Street, Tyrone, PA., 16686., on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 2PM to 5PM.

A Funeral Service will be held at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 5PM with Father Michael Pleva officiating.
