Waivia L. Huddy, 90 of Tyrone, died Sunday, December 26, 2021. She was born on February 1, 1931 in Dix, the daughter of the late Alvah and Ellouise (Adams) Weaver. She is survived by three children: Stephen Clair and Clarence Vaughn, and Lisa Mae Kirk; six siblings: Clarence, Dorie and Reuben Weaver, Jane Lapp, Betty Beckwith, and Marlene Davis; six grandchildren: William, Jacob, Stacey, Steven Michael, Eric, and Stephen Jr.; great-grandchildren: Jaquaia, Jasmine, Keanau, and several others; and her later husband Walter's children: Leilani and Walter. In addition to her husband, she was preceded by: two children, and five siblings.

Waivia enjoyed quilting, having made over 50 quilts, sewing, baking, and spending time with family.

An 11 am funeral service will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021, at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Ken Patterson officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 until the 11 am service. Interment will be made at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
