Veryl M. Frye, 92 of Tyrone, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026. He was born in Tyrone on November 3, 1933, a son of the late Veryl M. Sr. and Margaret (Snyder) Frye. He is survived by his wife of 71 years Adda (Foust) Frye; his sons: David (Betsy) and Dale (Pam) Frye; daughter: Debra (Charles) Ross; grandchildren: Joshua (Nicole) Frye, Kate (Andrew) Frye, Matt Ross, Ben (Megan) Frye, Jennifer (Justin) Wright; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson: Travis Frye; parents; two brothers; and three sisters.

He served honorably in the US Army and then 21 years in the Army National Guard. He worked at the Chicago Rivet for 25 years.

He loved traveling, camping, and making beautiful furniture.

He considered his 3 children the greatest blessing in his life.
