Timothy Charles Sprankle, 65 of Tyrone, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026. He was born in Tyrone on October 6, 1960, a son of the late Charles Lee and Beverly Alice (Walk) Sprankle. He is survived by three children: Tara Jo Sprankle of Bellefonte, Trista Sprankle of Oregon, and Thaddeus (Heather) Sprankle of Bellwood; five grandchildren: Landon, Gage, Jaxson, Cruz, and JoEllen; and three brothers: Ricky Lee (Janelle), Randy William (Brenda), and Jeffrey Eugene Sprankle. Along with his parents, he was preceded by a sister: Peggy Sue Sprankle.

Tim was a 1978 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. He worked for 10 years at Proctor Silex, as well as at the family store as a meat cutter, but predominantly worked in the carpentry field.

He enjoyed fishing and liked showing horses when he was younger.

A Noon funeral for Timothy Charles Sprankle will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at The Chapel, 817 W 15th St. Tyrone, PA 16686. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 10:30 am until the time of service. Interment will be made at Eastlawn Cemetery following the service.
