Thomas G. Fink, age 85, of Tyrone died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at his residence. H was born July 22, 1931 in Tyrone, the son of Gilbert W. and Ruth A. Steele Fink. On July 22, 1952 in Winchester, VA he was married to Dorothy Hosband who survives. Also surviving are Three sons, Gib (Tammy), Tyrone, Tom, Phoenix, AZ and Clay, Tyrone, two grandchildren, Brittnee Mendez and Breea Fink and three great-grandchildren – Damon, Tanner and Maddie. One brother, Ronald of Pittsburgh survives. He was preceded by a half-brother Jim Wilson.

Thomas was a graduate of Tyrone High School Class of 1949 and retired as a sheet metal instructor from SCI - Rockview. He served from 1951 to 1954 in the US Navy. He attended Tyrone Alliance Church. He enjoyed attending football games and wrestling matches and was a former Tyrone district champion wrestler. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and spending time with his family.

Funeral service for Thomas G. Fink will be at 11 AM on Monday, November 28th at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc. with Reverend Carl Schmidt officiating. Interment will be in Baughman Cemetery, Snyder Township. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 PM and on Monday for one hour prior to the funeral service.
