Thelma L. Diehl, 93, of Tyrone died Tuesday November 27, 2018 at Epworth Manor.

She was born February 28, 1925 in Tyrone, a daughter of Wilbur Dixon and Mary Friday. On December 16, 1946 in Winchester, Virginia she married Robert J. Diehl Sr. He died December 30, 1993.

Surviving are a son, Robert J. Jr. and wife Alice of Tyrone, a daughter, Mary Louise Thompson and husband Jerry of Lancaster, a grandson Kevin John Diehl, three great-grandchildren, twelve step-grandchildren, fifteen step-great-grandchildren,and a step-sister McKeva Dixon of Ellisville, Mississippi.

Mrs.Diehl retired from Big Yank as a seamstress following 30 years service.

She was a member of the Church of the Brethren, Tyrone and the Bald Eagle Grange.

Thelma enjoyed playing cards, puzzle books and going to the Tyrone Senior Center.

Funeral services will be held Saturday December 1, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Ben Henshaw officiating. Interment will follow at Bald Eagle Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 8 P.M. .
