Stella M. "Wolfe" Rutherford, 73, formerly of Bellwood died Tuesday December 6, 2016 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center.

She was born February 27, 1943 in Doylesburg, a daughter of Sylvester E. and Mae E. (Hockenberry) Wolfe.

Surviving are three sons, Scott and wife Kathy of Bellefonte, John and wife Terri of Bellwood, David of Sinking Valley, four grandchildren, Elizabeth, April, Ashley and Zachery, four great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Logan, Evelyn and Kylie, three sisters, Pauline Hopkins and Jean Riley both of Bellwood, Debbie Lamarre of Strongsville, Ohio and a brother Charles Wolfe of Altoona. She was preceded in death by two brothers Donald and Albert Wolfe and a sister Patsy Gathigan.

She was a member of Bald Eagle United Methodist Church. She enjoyed volunteering her services and helping out at Pine Ridge Halfway House, Bald Eagle. She loved gardening and spending time with her family.
