Shirley D. Minor, 76, of Tyrone, formerly of Columbia, MD and Chicago, IL passed away on, August 30, 2022. She was born on April 8, 1946 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Calvin and Amy (Jones) Toliver. She is survived by her son Sherwood and wife Melissa Minor; two grandchildren: Elijah and Hannah Minor; two sisters: Marlene Hudson and Florence Nelson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 11 siblings.

Shirley attended and graduated high school in Chicago. She held many different occupations, among them were housekeeping, dietary aid, and patient care technician.

She enjoyed cooking, visiting with her son who was her pride and joy, and most of all she loved spending time with her grandbabies. As much as Shirley loved her family, the love of her life was God through her Savior the Lord Jesus Christ."
