Obituary

Shirley A. Kobak, 88, of Tyrone died Tuesday December 15, 2020 at Epworth Manor.

She was born September 1, 1932 in Tyrone, a daughter of Charles and Elda (Evans) Smith. She was preceded in death by her first husband Harold Mayhue on June 25, 2001 and to her second husband Ronald Kobak on April 18, 2018.

Surviving are a daughter, Karen Miller of Tyrone, a step-daughter Julie Brenneman and husband James of Warriors Mark, three grandchildren, Cindy Morrissey (Todd), Matthew and Luke, two great-grandchildren; Megan Romano (Brady) and Ryan Romano (Victoria), four great-great-grandchildren; Ryan Romano Jr., Haley and Chloee Waite , Xander Williams, two sisters; Ruth Maines , Charlotte Igou and husband Jack and two brothers; Charlie and Russell Smith. She was preceded in death by two sisters Elva Jean Zimmerman and Jennie Mae Boyer and two brothers; Charlie and Russell Smith.

She retired from Juniata Packing as a packer following seven years service. She previously was employed at Commodore Homes, Milesburg and at Grier School, Birmingham.

Shirley enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private. Interment at Baughman Cemetery.
