Scott Paterson Stevens, age 51, of Alexandria, VA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday,

June 29, 2017 at his residence. He was born November 11, 1965 in Tyrone, the son of George and Alexandra Paterson Stevens. He is survived by a daughter, Lacey Stevens, Alexandria, VA, his parents and a brother, Tim Stevens and his family of Warriors Mark, PA. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Caitlyn.

Scott was a 1984 graduate of Tyrone Area High School. Following graduation he was employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Washington, DC. During his 31 years of service, he advanced from a mail clerk to a computer specialist in the IT department and became an instrumental part of the program.

Friends will be received from 10:30 to 11:30 AM on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Wesley United Methodist Church, Tyrone, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM. Arrangements are under the care of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone.
