Saralee "Sue" Reed, 77, of Bedford, PA went to be with the Lord, on Saturday, April 8, 2017. She courageously fought MS for over 35 years.

Born in Alfarata, PA on October 24, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Gruver and Ester (Harter) Yeater and the Daughter-In-Law of the late Harry and Bernadine (Wilson) Reed.

She is survived by her husband Herbert M. Reed, of Bedford, PA and son Douglas K. Reed, husband of Lisa, and grandchildren Devon and Delaney Reed. She is also the grandmother of Michael Reed.

Herb and Sue were married on September 6, 1958. Sue was a housewife and mother. In 1957, she graduated fromLewistown High School. Throughout her life Sue enjoyed cooking, her cats, riding motorcycles and learning to fly. She was a member of the Acts Community Fellowship Church in Bedford, PA.

A service will be held at the Acts Community Fellowship Church in Bedford, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc., 115 W. Tenth Street, Tyrone, PA 16686 to assist the family with final expenses.
