Sara Ray Swartz, 90, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, following a brief illness.

Born on December 9, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Park Ray and Charlotte Weston Ray. Sara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Swartz; her brothers, Park Ray, Don Ray, and Dale Ray; and her sisters, Beryl Nearhoof, Roxanne Shultz, and Cindy Rodgers.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Swartz (Teresa) of Tyrone, and her daughter, Karol Fink of Lancaster. Sara was a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy.

Sara enjoyed camping, boating, and, above all, spending time with her family. She treasured the memories made with those she loved and will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family.

A private service will be held for the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Sara's memory.

Sara will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
