Sara N. Conner, 79, of Tyrone died Thursday November 16, 2017 at her residence.

She was born April 28, 1938 in Altoona, a daughter of Charles and Nellie (Colyer) Noye. On February 24, 1959 in Hagerstown, Maryland she married Thomas Edward Conner. He died in 2011.

Surviving are three daughters, Sallie Ann Lindstrom and husband Ron of Sandy Ridge, Lisa Gilson and husband Clif of Sandy Ridge, Heather Hunter of Tyrone, two sons, Thomas and wife Kathy of Tyrone, Sean and wife Amy of Tyrone, ten grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, three sisters, Doris Noye of Greenwood, Bonnie Blake of Austin, Texas, Thelma Jean Poorman of Oceanside, California and a brother Wes Noye of Bellwood. She was preceded in death by a son Scott, three brothers Leroy, Frank and Charles Noye and three sisters Eleanor, Marian and Betsy.

Mrs. Conner had been employed at Big Yank as a seamstress and had retired from C-Cor, Bellwood.

She was a 1957 graduate of Altoona High School. She enjoyed gardening, canning, her dog, raising chickens and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her sister Doris.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
