Rosalind Haupt Snyder, 80 of Tyrone, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at UPMC Altoona, She will now be with loved ones who have already made this journey.

Rosalind was born in Tyrone on June 26, 1944, the daughter of the late LeRoy Haupt Sr. and Marie (Hoffa) Haupt. She was the youngest of four children, she is survived by a brother Gene Haupt, and was preceded by siblings: LeRoy Haupt Jr., and Mary Bywater.

She had the joy of giving life and love to four children, son's James Haupt and Randy McElwain and daughters Lisa Snyder and her heavenly angel Angela Givler who each had families of their own. We welcomed six precious grandchildren: Nicholas and Jennifer Riggleman, John Givler, Chris Tremmel, Michael Haupt and Anthony Bidoli. Precious great-grandchildren: Nicolas, Bladen and Joshua Riggleman, Jamie and Jenna Shankle, Ezra and Asher Tremmel, and Sophia Givler.

She was employed by Improved Dwelling of Altoona (IDA) for 32 years as a manager of Washington Terrace and Sylvan Acres Apartments in Tyrone before retiring in 2002.

She opened her business in Tyrone, Rosalind's Finds and Consigns in 2010. She retired for the second time in 2013 due to illness.

Rosalind will be waiting for the love of her life, Philip Snyder, whom she married in 1978 to join her. During her illness she was blessed to receive weekly and daily phone calls and visits from most of her immediate family members and also her niece Sharon and longtime friend Helen who all made time to show her the love and compassion she shared with them in her lifetime. Her family was the center of her life. She will not forget the ones who didn't forget her.

At Rosalind's request, no public services will be held.
