Ronald Clair Adams, 83 of Tyrone passed away Monday, October 23, 2023. He was born in Pittsburgh on July 30, 1940, the son of the late Paul Adams and Eleanor Broadway. On August 8, 1999 he married Peggy (Leasure) Adams who survives. Also surviving are stepsons: Steve and Andy Turchetta; Step-grandchildren: Tiffany Bartlett, Justin Warner, Sean and Liam Turchetta; four step-great grandchildren; siblings: Dale Broadway, Cathay Lamont, and Beverly Irvin; brother in law: Dr. Nick (Dr. Veronica Covalesky) Leasure; sister-in-law: Connie (Jerry) Wood; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by siblings: James Broadway and Janice Hartsock.

Ron was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church where he also served in a custodial role for many years. He was also a past Scoutmaster for the Boy Scout troop at Christ United Methodist Church. He worked as a security guard for DelGrosso's in multiple areas including the park, sauce plant, and Marianna's. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hiking, yardword, and sweets.

A 2 pm memorial service for Ronald Clair Adams will be held on November 11, 2023 at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc . Contributions in his memory may be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society. Arrangements are under the care of Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc.
