Roberta K. Ewing, 40 of Tyrone, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026. She was born in Tyrone on May 5, 1986, the daughter of Herman Mac Carper and the late Marilyn "Mim" Carper. She is survived by her husband Richard Ewing Sr. Also surviving are children: Richard Ewing Jr., Damien Ewing, and Ariana Ewing; grandchildren: Lily and Noah; and siblings: Christi (Chester) Stonebraker, Macky Carper, and Faith Carper. She was preceded in death by a daughter: McKayla Ewing; siblings: Amy Jo Carper and Lee Quick; her tatertot Kallahen Foster; nephew Tobias Mac Carper; aunt: Joyce Snyder; aunt and uncle: Walt and Pat Carper; grandparents: Roberta and Walt Carper, and Edward and Alma Updyke; cousin: Wade Bonsell; and mother-in-law Alice Ewing.

Roberta was a 2005 graduate of Tyrone Area High School as well as South Hills Business School where she studied Architecture. She was previously employed by Penn State University and worked at "The Hub" in the food service industry.

She enjoyed being outside, working, tubing and swimming, camping, doing gem art paintings, drawing, tattoos, and baking & decorating cakes. Most of all she loved her family, her children, and her nieces and nephews.

A noon funeral service for Roberta K. Carper will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. Family and friends will be received from 10 am until the time of service. Contributions in her memory may be made to the funeral home, 115 W 10th St. Tyrone, PA 16686.
