Robert C. Richardson, age 86, of Alexandria, PA died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Arista Care of Huntingdon Park, Huntingdon, PA. following a longtime battle with health complications. He was born January 22, 1931 in Clinton, IN, the son of Carl and Bertha Hedges Richardson. On March 21, 1962 at Amarillo, TX he married Betty Moore who survives. Also surviving are four children – James Reaser, Beorne, TX, Martie Mehrring, Beorne, TX, Robert C Richardson (Natasha), Orange County, CA and Beth Harms, Alexandria, PA, a brother William Richardson, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Reaser.

Richardson served in communications in the United States Air Force for 26 years. He retired as Chief Master Sargent. He has lived in the Alexandria area for thirty plus years. He enjoyed fixing things and working on various project and his favorite sports were baseball and football. He was a devout husband and loving father.

Funeral service for Mr. Richardson will be Monday, October 9, 2017 at 12:30 PM at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc. with Joe Oldham officiating, to be followed by the Veteran's Service. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Tyrone. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 to 6 PM.
