Robert Lee Miles, 72 of Tyrone and a guest at Altoona Center for Nursing Care, died Thursday, October 29, 2020. He was born in Altoona on February 24, 1948 the son of the late Elmer and Edith (Anderson) Miles. He is survived by a sister: Barbara (Tim) Rhoades; a brother: Rick (Kathy) Miles; and his cat: Stinky.

Robert was of the Lutheran faith and was a 1968 graduate of Tyrone High School. After graduation he worked for Claster's Lumberyard and Contractor Supply until they closed. He then worked at Ray Burial Vault until he retired.

He was a lifelong firefighter; volunteering at Citizens, Neptune and Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder fire companies. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as model cars.

Services for Robert Lee Miles will be private.
