Obituary

R. Jack Turnbaugh, 86, of Fallentimber formerly of Tyrone died Wednesday July 15, 2015 at his residence.

He was born August 15, 1928 in Tyrone a son of Robert N. and Dorothy Mae (Johnston) Turnbaugh. On October 11, 1947 in Winchester, Virginia he married Elizabeth B. "Libby" Waple. She died March 2, 2009.

Surviving are 4 daughters, Lindy Sue Spiridigliozzi of Fallentimber, Jackie Elizabeth Dunkle of Tyrone, Nora Kay Moskel of Florida, Sally Ann Clark and husband Vince of Panama City, Florida, 2 sons, Robert Mike and wife Pam of Raleigh, North Carolina, Charles Clinton and wife Terri of Frazier, 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter and a brother James Lee of White Deer. He was preceded in death by a brother William.

Mr. Turnbaugh retired in 1990 from Westvaco, Tyrone as a color foreman following 43 years service.

He had been a member of the Tyrone Gardner Guards.

Jack enjoyed his grandchildren and the outdoors.

There will be no services. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home on Monday July 20, 2015 from 11 A.M. until 2 P.M. Interment will follow at Blair Memorial Park.
