Obituary

Phyllis (Montgomery) Morrissey, 90 of Hoovers Lane, Tyrone has passed from this Earth on Monday, June 8, 2026, to be with the Jewish Messiah, King and Redeemer of all who come to Him. She was married to Richard "Dick" Morrissey in May of 1957. They had two children, Terry L. married Edward Hribik of Tyrone, and Mark R. married to Robin Golden of Tyrone. She had three grandchildren, Brandon who married Megan Decker of Tyrone, Kristen Morrissey who married Daniel Beckey, Tyler Golden who married Kiyomi Blanset of Pittsburgh. She had three great grandchildren, Mia Hribik, Hunter Beckey, and Nash Golden.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dick, and grandchildren Matthew Hribik and Seth Morrissey.

She was a member of S.P.C.A.. In her early years she bought and sold antiques and collectables. She, along with her faithful companion Sadie the cat, enjoyed her garden for many years. But mostly she loved reading and studying Yahweh's love letters found in the Holy Scriptures.

At Phyllis' request, there will be no services. Interment will be made at Bald Eagle Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602.
