Paul S. Swayne, Jr., 87, of Tyrone, passed away on July 20, 2024. He was the son of the late Paul S. Sr. and Priscilla (Hoffman) Swayne. He is survived by his wife of nearly 67 years, Carol (Shultz).

Paul was a graduate of Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology (formerly Stevens Trade School) as an electrician. Paul was employed as an electrician by Westvaco for 13 years, followed by 27 years as an electrician with the Penn State Altoona Campus before retiring in 1998. He also taught basic electricity evening classes at the Altoona Area Vocational-Technical School for seven years during the late 70s, early 80s. Paul was a member of Columbia Avenue Methodist Church/Church of the Good Shepherd for more than 70 years. He enjoyed giving back to his community and coached Little League baseball in Tyrone for 19 years.

Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carol and his family.
