Paul E. Swartz, age 90, of Tipton, passed away Saturday, December 28th following a brief illness.

Paul was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.

Paul is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sara Ray Swartz, his son Kevin Swartz of Tyrone and daughter Karol Fink of Lancaster, eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Leola Lightner of Tyrone.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Earl Chester Swartz and mother, Velma Tacey Swartz.

He was employed by Westvaco Paper Mill for 45 years and was a member of the First Assembly of God church in Tyrone.

A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society.
