Paul Ramsey, 81 of Sinking Valley, died Tuesday, November 9, 2021. He was born in Sinking Valley on April 28, 1940, the son of the late Ernest and Priscilla (Fry) Ramsey. Paul is survived by four siblings: Margaret Ann Mull, Rose Mary Clark, John Elder Ramsey, Grace Evelyn Detwiler; and 17 nieces and nephews including his niece Susan Priscilla Hathcock. He was preceded by five siblings: Betty Jean Miller, Frank Elwood Ramsey, James William Ramsey, Connie Lou Campbell, and Nancy Marie Ramsey; and three nieces.

Paul was a 1958 graduate of Tyrone Area High School. He worked for the Ray Burial Vault Company as well as being a farm laborer.

He was a phenomenal slow pitch softball player, he enjoyed bowling and was a very serious, stern, and competitive pinochle player.
