Patricia S. Shellenberger, 86, of Tyrone died Tuesday December 26, 2017 at Epworth Manor.

She was born May 13, 1931 in Altoona, a daughter of Earle T. and Helen (Carson) Stanley.

Surviving are a son Robert Scott Shellenberger and wife Lisa of Altoona, two grandchildren, Carrie Gibson and Beth Shellenberger, three great-grandchildren, Dillen, Savannah and Rylan Gibson and a cousin Marjorie Kobuck who was raised in the family home.

She retired in 1993 from ChemCut, State College in the Accounting Dept. following 12 years service. She was previously employed for nine years at Juniata Packing, Tyrone as a bookkeeper and for eight years in the Accounting Dept. at Westvaco, Tyrone.

She was a member of Spring Mount Church of the Brethren. She was past president's of the Tyrone Hospital Woman's Auxiliary , Junior Woman's Club of Tyrone and the Blair County Federation of Woman. She was a 1949 graduate of Tyrone High School.

Private viewing will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
