Norman R. Tubo, 78, who resided with his daughter Pam and husband Charles in Beccaria passed away at home surrounded by loving family Friday January 26, 2018.

He was born October 1, 1939 in Philipsburg, a son of the late George Sr.and Leona (Kasubick) Tubo. On July 7, 1962 in Houtzdale he married Cecilia A. Hansel.

Surviving are his wife, a son Scott of Altoona, a daughter, Pamela Bonsell and husband Charles of Beccaria, five grandchildren, Tyler, Cory, Jackie, Matthew and Samuel, six great-grandchildren: Mia, Cameron, Layla, Rylan, Ryann and Charlotte, a sister Marlene Bergh of Gurley, Alabama and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother George.

He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Altoona Chapter of Gold Wing Riders Assn. and was past Exalted Ruler of the Tyrone Elks from 1982-1983.

Mr. Tubo had been employed at Tyrone Foodland as Meat Manager for twenty years and as a Car Salesman for Zulick Chevrolet, Houtzdale for ten years. He was a Driver for Tyrone Car Care for twenty years.

Norm was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday January 30, 2018 at 12 Noon at St. Matthew Church with Fr. Jozef Kovacik Celebrant. Interment will follow at Brisbin Cemetery. Friends will received at Feller Memorial Home on Monday from 4 to 8 P.M.
