Norma M. Dixon, 87, of Tyrone, died Saturday November 22, 2014 at Tyrone Hospital.

She was born on January 27, 1927, daughter of Norbert and Clara Bauer.

On October 26, 1946 she married Leroy N. Dixon in Lockport, NY. He died November 27, 2000.

She is survived by 2 sons Ronald Lee and wife Linda, and Richard James both of Medford, Oregon, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a sister Marsha Drake of Buffalo, NY. She is preceded in death by a brother Richard Bauer.

She was a member of Saint Matthew Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America, Court St. Rita.

She worked as a housekeeper in Ashland, Oregon and assisted her husband with Dixon Quality Meats of Ashland, for many years.

She enjoyed spending time at the Tyrone Senior Center, painting, artwork, and crafts. She also loved knitting afghans and word puzzles.

Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday November 26, 2014 at 11 A.M.At St. Matthew Church with Fr. Jozef Kovacik Celebrant. Interment will follow at Baughman Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M.
