Nancy Carol "Granny" White, 83, of Tyrone, died Thursday April 20, 2023 at Epworth Manor. She was born June 20, 1939 in Tyrone, a daughter of the late Darius and Dorothy (Adams) Ross. On January 2, 1975, she married Franklin H. White Sr.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Franklin Jr. and wife Julie of Bellwood; a grandson, Ryan of Pittsburgh; a sister, Judy Taylor and husband Bill of Warriors Mark; and many nieces and nephews whom she considered as her own children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother John Ross and sisters Elizabeth Garbrick and Sally Brenneman.

Nancy was a 1957 graduate of Tyrone High School. She retired from Chicago Rivet, Tyrone. She was a member of Saint Matthew's Catholic Church, Tyrone.

Nancy was a wonderful cook and decorator, and loved her cats, flowers and shopping. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 10-11am on Thursday, April 27th, 2023 at Saint Matthews Catholic Church, Tyrone. A funeral Mass will be held 11am with Father Micheal Pleva. Inurnment will be Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nancy's name can go to Saint Matthew's Catholic Church, or Grane Hospice, at BrightSpring Hospice Foundation 805 N. Whittington Parkway Louisville, KY 40222
