Mina M. Dunlap, 91, of Atwater, Ohio, passed away at Rebekah Manor in Portage on Saturday, March 11, 2017. She was born October 10, 1925 at her homestead in Reese Hollow to parents Dorse and Ethel Walk Matts. She was raised for 15 years by maternal grandparents, John and Minnie Reese Walk of Reese Hollow, Centre County. On October 7, 1940 in Cumberland, MD she married Melvin M. Mayhue Sr. and was later remarried on January 6, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio to Charles O. Dunlap who preceded her in death.

Mina is survived by one daughter, Rosemarie M. Mayhue Wasko. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren; David (Kimberly) Hand, Dallas, GA, Kathy (Joseph) Novy, Helotes, TX and Jason (Melissa) Wasko, Duncansville, 6 great-grandchildren; Amber, Joshua, Brittney, Ricky, John and Claire and 1 great-great-grandchild, Chloe. She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Lee Mayhew and 1 great-grandchild.

Mrs. Dunlap was a life member of the Women of the Moose in Rivana, Ohio and enjoyed reading and quilting. She was also a member of the First Lutheran Church in Portage, PA.

Inurnment service will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Hall Cemetery in State College, PA with Reverend John Palko officiating. Arrangements are under the care of The Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc.
