Michael Anthony Himes, 61, of Bellwood went to be with the Lord Saturday January 10, 2015. He was born July 5, 1953 in Altoona the son of the late James C. and Thelma (Dyble) Himes . On April 26, 1980, he married Donna Potts at the United Methodist Church, Tyrone. He is survived by his wife, 2 brothers Allen Himes and wife Carol of Juniata, and Calvin Himes and wife Kim of Harrisburg, 2 sisters Joyce Bollinger of Curwensville, and Sue Spoostra of Altoona and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers James C. and Melvin and 3 sisters Ella Mae Feathers, Lucy Harlow and Carol Miller all of Altoona. Mr. Himes retired on disability in 2004 from Bolger Brothers, Altoona as a laborer following 2 years service. He was a member of Hillside Community Church, Bellwood. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, Nascar and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed family and friends and to make people laugh. He mostly loved doing things with his wife of 34 years and his pup Angel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 14, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Ken Beichler officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Following the services a luncheon will be served at the Hillside Community Church, 508 S. Cambria St. Bellwood.
