Michael D. Emery, 54, of Tyrone died Thursday September 1, 2016 at his residence.

He was born February 15, 1962 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a son of Kenneth and Faye (Lewis) Emery Sr. He was married to Ginger Colyer who preceded him in death in 2012.

Surviving are two sons, Kurt D. and Michael T. Emery both of Tyrone, and two sisters, Caroline "Mary" Weakland and Donna M. Goodfellow both of Tyrone. He was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Emery Jr., a sister Stacy Emery and step-father Tom Gates.

He had formerly served as custodian at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Tyrone.

Mike enjoyed football and spending time with his dog Madison.

Friends will be received on Thursday September 8, 2016 from 6 P.M. until the memorial services at 7 P.M. at Joshua House, 123 W. 10th St., Tyrone.
