Melissa A. Bonsell, 37, of Philipsburg died Wednesday November 1, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born November 5, 1979 in Philipsburg, a daughter of Robert and Gloria (McGarvey) Bennett who survive in Irvona. On November 22, 2016 in Winchester, Virginia she married Michael Bonsell.

Also surviving are her husband, a son Mason Michael, a step-daughter Gracie Elizabeth,a grandmother Mary Alice Bennett of Glasgow, two sisters, Jennifer Bennett and husband John Cavaner of Altoona, Tiffany Bennett of Ashville , a brother Daniel Bennett of Irvona and several nieces and nephews.

She had worked in the housekeeping department of Altoona Hospital for seven years and also had been employed at The Meadows, Centre Hall and Skills, Altoona.

Melissa enjoyed skull artistry and rock music.

Private viewing and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
