Melissa A. Weight, age 23, of Tyrone died Sunday, November 1, 2015 in Tyrone. She was born in Altoona on October 8, 1992 the daughter of Gregory and Michelle Lewis Weight. She is survived by her parents, a son, Carter McMillen and his father Matt McMillen, a brother Scott and his fiance Jolene Ball, a nephew Jace Weight of Tyrone and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was a graduate of Moshannon Valley High School, Class of 2011 and had been employed as a dietary aide at Graystone Manor, Bellemeade.

Melissa enjoyed spending time with her son and her boyfriend, she liked to ride with her Dad on his Harley, she loved to shop, to read and to fish. She had a good spirit and a big heart and was an animal lover.

Funeral service for Melissa A. Weight will be Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 8:00 PM at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Mark Melhorn of the Brisbin Baptist Church officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until the 8:00 PM funeral service.
