Maxine D. Schoch, 92, of Tyrone died Monday November 11, 2019 at Garvey Manor Nursing Home.

She was born December 16, 1926 in Tyrone a daughter of Matthew and Annie (Lynch) Cushion. On June 26, 1954 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Tyrone she married William I. Schoch. He died December 14, 2009.

Surviving are three daughters; Cathy Igou of Tyrone, Annette Smith (Tom) of Altoona, Cindy Winslow (Greg) of Griffin, Georgia, a son Bill (Josh Stein) of San Francisco, California, six grandchildren; Brian Igou, Breein Tuskovich, Tonia and Tiffany Nevling, Tarin Greene,Taylor Winslow, eight great-grandchildren, a sister Louise Simondale of Warriors Mark and a brother Matthew Cushion of Warriors Mark. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Steve and John Cushion.

Mrs. Schoch retired in 1988 from the meat department at Ray's Riverside, Tyrone following 14 years service. She had previously been employed at Big Yank, Tyrone for 10 years.

She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court St. Rita. She was a graduate of Warriors Mark School in 1944.

Maxine enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, cooking and baking.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday November 15, 2019 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Tyrone at 12 Noon with Fr. Jozef Kovacik Celebrant. Friends will be received at the church on Friday from 11 A.M. until the time of services.
