Matthew J. Miller, 22, of Tyrone died June 2, 2017.

He was born January 18, 1995 in Tyrone, a son of Wilbur Jr. and Dawn Michelle (Leeper) Miller.

Surviving are his parents, a sister Casey Miller of Tyrone, grandmothers Cynthia Brower and Shirley Apgar of Tyrone, grandfather Norman Leeper of Montana, great-grandmother Alice Brower of Tyrone, two uncles Clyde Leeper and wife Becky of Tyrone, Norman Leeper Jr. of Montana, godfather James Anderson of Tyrone and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He had been employed at Asurion, Altoona in customer service.

He was a cancer survivor and was featured in 1997 as a Geisinger Miracle Child.

Matthew loved music and enjoyed playing guitar and drums and going to concerts. He loved spending time with his best friend, his dog Chyna. He loved everyone.

Friends will be received on Wednesday June 7, 2017 at 9 A.M. until the funeral service at 11 A.M. at Tyrone Alliance Church with Rev. Carl Schmidt officiating.
