Mary G. Itinger, 98, of Petersburg died Thursday March 16, 2017 at J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon.

She was born June 4, 1918 in Tyrone a daughter of John and Mae Rose (Guida) Franchio. She married Ross Itinger of Alexandria who preceded her in death in November 1990.

Surviving are three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Heidel Henney and husband Rick of Smithfield, Midge Gaumer of Petersburg, Susan Pardoe of Flinton, eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren, three sisters, Louise Sweitzer of Tyrone, Kathleen Parmlee of Valdosta, Georgia, Virginia Rose Lamanteer of Bridgeton, New Jersey and four brothers John and James Franchio of Tyrone, Albert Franchio of Orlando, Florida and Pete Franchio of Middletown, New York. She was preceded in death by a son Jack Itinger on July 18, 2016 and five siblings.

Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
